An audiovisual installation made in 2022 for exhibition 1111viens in Liepāja culture center "Internāts"
This artwork delves into the fragmentation of people and communities, into isolation. The world feels lonely, we have become alienated. The Lauma district, which was the main theme of this exhibition, is a suburban area of ​​Liepāja, away from the center. There are only apartment buildings, roads and shops. Everything to survive, nothing to thrive and co-create.
Created with poplar branches and leaves, which illuminate a projection with views of the Lauma district. There were bags on the ground to sit on, however, the audience decided to use them to 'find' the projection.
